Tux has that traditional, long sweeping
Hunt Seat
trot, and a big canter too. He looks like he'll be pretty smooth.
This
appendix-registered gelding has a quarter horse mind in
a thoroughbred
body. From day one, his disposition has been really quiet and good
natured. He was totally cooperative while we treated a cut on his leg,
he doesn't mind shots or baths. He loads easily, and has been good when
the farrier trims him.
As of July 2010, Tux is in a gawky growth spurt, but he seems to be a
diamond
in the rough, ready to fill out into a really nice hunt seat horse,
soon ready for a trainer.
