breaking young horses by showing
them the world on these trails. On this day, Gary is training
Crackerjack,
and Denise, his owner, is riding along to watch how
her youngster behaves.
Denise says: "They've helped start three
2-year-olds for me this
spring, and all three were on the trails after only one day in the
round pen. I really like their program."

the creek
Zorro has had about 30 days training,
but this is only Crackerjack's
second day on the trail, and his third ride ever. Both days he crossed
the creek without any fuss. It's deep in spots, and the water is really
cold, year around, because Little Pine Creek is fed by a huge spring
not far upstream.
