Smokey has been successfully shown at open and 4-H shows in both Western and English classes. He is an excellent open or 4-H show horse. He has a huge trot and can jump 2'6'' to 3'' fences. He has won two all around year end saddles in open show competition. He is sound and has no vices. He needs a rider with a strong leg as he tends to be lazy. He is not agressive in the pasture and is not hard to catch. He has not been trail ridden much.
